Flowerscapes, LLC is a landscaping business
that specializes in creating unique and stunning flower gardens from design concept to installation.
Flowerscapes, LLC is family-owned and operated by
Landscape Designer Maria Kramer. Her horticultural knowledge of plants, creative eye for design, and inner sense of place
helped her create in 2007 the highly acclaimed "Veteran's Memorial Gardens" in Marlboro Township.
This very big and beautiful perennial garden island with
several different garden beds surrounding the monument, is at the center of the Municipal Complex on 1979 Township Drive,
Marlboro, New Jersey 07746.
The design and the entire landscape was volunteered. Maria volunteers
her time to a Monmouth County organization and several Marlboro Township committees. Her background is varied; from being
trained as a classical pianist at The Conservatory of Music, Brokerage, the Arts and TV Entertainment business, to Nursery,
Greenhouse Propagation, and County Park Volunteer Leader/Gardening Instructor; as well as a self-taught acrylic artist
and more recently a Garden column writer for "Our Town" newspaper. She now uses her artistic nature to do what she
was born to do, which is creating gardens with her heart and soul.
She looks at a section of land and "sees" gardens, and makes then come to reality. She
understands plants. It is a gift inherited from two generations past.
